I emailed Mitch Joel. He replied and we are trying to find a suitable date for Smarter Egg group to meet with him via live Skype webcam link. The ball is back in our Cork court. Mitch has been ever so encouraging and generous.

We’ve been talking about your great offer. A Skype chat (webcam) with us (SmarterEgg Group) would be terrific. We want to make the best of this opportunity to chat with you.

First a date: how would Tuesday 11 May suit you? We meet at 1845 our time (GMT) until 2100. 45 mins to 1 hour with you would be superb. We are preparing questions around which we can learn.

Alternatively, Tues 18 May? Same time.

When we have a date that suits you & us, we can get our heads focussed on the detail. I must say the whole group is a bit in awe over the direct contact we’ve made with you: living proof of your book in practice. A great example of the value of the internet and how it’s revolutionised assumptions.

Hi Paul,

We discussed our action plan at my business’ weekly marketing meeting.

Based on Mitch Joel’s book, we’re doing OK-ish, but it’s given real guidance as to where we can improve. A superb first text for the course.

The most important thing I’ve learned so far is having a proper call to action on the website and the blog. At the moment, we have nothing.

Great to have you as part of this group. Delighted to hear that you’ve already got an action plan going. The group will be there to help you make these actions happen.

Mitch’s book is a fine introduction to the opportunities that are opened up by connecting online. I’d recommend it to anyone in business who’s anxious to ‘catch up’ with the developments of the online channel.
